My love for nature inspired me to write The Boy, the Fawn, and the Dreamcatcher. I always lived near a forest or creek and observed nature from afar. I always admired anything artistic that reflected the true colors of nature. One day I came across this image at a store that was a part of an advertisement for color pencils, which soon became an inspiration for my next purchase. In 2014, I bought my one and only dreamcatcher from a farmer's market, because at the time I experienced nightmares out of nowhere. Ever since I placed the dreamcatcher over my head, my world changed with the way I slept.

I was born and raised in Garland, Texas. After I graduated high school and attended community college for a few years, I transferred over to the University of Houston - Main Campus, where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, minor in Marketing. I stayed in Houston after I graduated and would often visit my folks back at home. I love the home and family I've made in Houston. I also love my home and family I'll always have in Dallas. Overall, I love everyone in Texas, including people that moved into Texas these past few years.
